The Tapoul Gorges
The Tapoul Canyon is unavoidable. This Canyon is considered as the pearl of Cévennes ! It’s playful and sporty. Indeed, it offers a succession of jumps, waterfalls, slides, giants tyrollean, in a fresh and translucent water. You will enjoy the learning of abseiling in a granite frame. Great for an excursion with friends, bachelor of bachelorette party. Guaranteed feelings ! To preserve the place, the canyon is submitted to regulations. It’s closed for practice on Sunday and Monday. During the summer season you need to park at the Rousses village (managed park, toilets, restaurant) and 4€ for shuttle Bus from the Rousses village (July-August) included in the prestation which brings you at the beginning of the canyon and brings you at the end.
The Tapoul is a great trail, playful and aquatic, based in the heart of the National Parc of Cévennes, close to Aigoual hill.
